Just wondering, when I already have an i-name (=johan.adler and also a convenient shorter version as synonym for my personal use, =ja, easier to enter for login pages), why would I want yet another i-name?
I thought the beauty of all this was to have one, and only one digital identity.
Is this @freeid stuff mostly for not yet i-name enabled people?

Dan, look for an email with the link to setup your free i-name. Note that the free i-names are names delegated under @freeid.

Hi I bought recently 2 community names (@pinko and @barcamp) in order to distribute freely to friends and for test.
I’m unhappy : contact forms don’twork.
Impossible to have any answer from linksafe support.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. I just reviewed the tech support queue and every question you’ve asked we’ve answered. The only questions I found were about custom branding and community i-names (including some test messages from @pinko community names). All of the contact messages have been replied to and I can see that the messages have been reviewed. So I’m curious how the service isn’t working for you.
I just tested the service again by communicating between an @freeid*name and @linksafe and messages move correctly in both directions.
If the contact service isn’t working for you we definitely want to know what is (or isn’t) working and if there are problems we’ll fix it. Please forward or post any details.

http://freeid.net now accepts self-serve @freeid*iname registrations using the Linksafe Remote Ibroker plugin. No more waiting for @linksafe to register for you.
With your @freeid*iname (and all other Linksafe inames), you can run the Remote Ibroker plugin for your own @freeid*iname*names!
